4 video channels - 2 projections and 2 monitors; 2 audio channels; Earphone; 3D print model in plastic 30 x 24 x 18 cm; lead gray wall, light gray wall, olive green wall, flag green wall. Galeria do Lago, Museu da República, Rio de Janeiro, 2018. Presents a contest to choose the Matuta Court, Rei Matuto and Rainha Caipira, according to local designation (in this case, Boa Vista, capital of Roraima), representatives of the gangs in June festivities typical Brazilian and very important in popular culture, especially in the interior of the country. Corte Matuta's selection contest was a spontaneous recording made with a cell phone in 2012 and, therefore, has a precarious resolution. The soundtrack is a mix made from the musical research carried out by Franklin Martins, compiled in the book “Who was that invented Brazil?”, bringing together songs that tell the history of the Republic, from 1902 to 2002.
